The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary in partnership with the Laguna Madre Yacht Club invites boaters of all experience levels to participate in the “Boat America” Boating Safety Course.
This comprehensive, one-day class is designed for individuals ages 13 and older and provides essential knowledge to help you boat safely and confidently on the water.

📘 What You’ll Learn
Instructors will present course material based on curriculum from both the
United States Coast Guard and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, covering:
- Boating laws and regulations
- Navigation rules and aids
- Safety equipment requirements
- Emergency procedures
- Safe operation and best practices
🎓 Certification
Participants will receive two certifications upon successful completion:
- Boat America Certificate (USCG Auxiliary)
- Texas Parks & Wildlife Boater Education Certificate
